1 to 1 Personal Training
If you require that extra bit of support whilst training, whether be it to keep you motivated or to ensure your movement patterns are correct, a 1-2-1 session can provide the attention to detail that can so easily be missed.
Flexibility and mobility sessions
These sessions are designed to help an individual’s ability to move comfortably without pain, whilst increasing their range of motion. In an athletic setting, the athlete’s ability to be able to produce power in as maximal range of motion as possible is vital to their ability to perform to their full potential - to be able to do this whilst helping reduce the risk of injury is equally as important.
Group training sessions
If you enjoy training/working out with your friends, I can plan a safe and effective training session for all abilities. This is a great way of getting a good workout with an added bit of fun.
Team sport specific training sessions
If your team requires a sport specific group training session, I can develop an effective programme to work on a multitude of different athletic attributes. Whatever you feel you need to focus on, be that strength, speed, conditioning or injury prevention, the session will be planned using sport specific movements to help improve your team’s athletic ability.
Competition day support
Whether for an individual or a team of athletes, having support on the day of a competition can have a sizeable effect on the outcome of an athlete’s ability to perform. Support can be tailored to the individual or team’s needs - whether that be ensuring timings of warm-up, including movement, mobilisation, activation and potentiation; or focusing on cool downs to assist with injury prevention. Whatever the requirements of the athlete(s), effective, targeted support can be provided.
Sports specific fitness testing
If you require a baseline of sport specific results, for yourself or your team, I can plan a battery of fitness tests focusing specifically on your sport as a whole or your playing position. To assess physical improvement, we would conduct valid and reliable sport specific fitness tests, from which a variety of athletic parameters can be analysed to help improve the athletic performance, whilst also highlighting areas of strength/weakness.
Biomechanical assessment
Whatever your sport, helping you improve your efficiency of movement is fundamental - whether that be winning a competition, producing more power or helping reducing the risk of potential injuries.
Postural assessment
Without correct posture, asking our body to perform complex and maximal effort movements can be a big ask. Understanding areas of concern, before subjecting the body to such stresses, is vital in reducing the risk of injury and to help improve an individual’s postural awareness .
